For the third year in a row, Siófok (Siófok) is preparing for its ultimate culinary weekend: GasztroFok, taking place November 8-9, 2025. Food lovers will have the chance to taste their way around town, as Siófok’s top restaurants, bistros, bakeries, and local producers come together once again for an unforgettable event across multiple venues.
A Gastronomic Adventure Awaits
Launched two years ago, GasztroFok was created to spotlight the area’s rich wine and food traditions, turning the whole city—from Széplak (Széplak) to Sóstó (Sóstó), Kiliti (Kiliti) to Szabadi (Szabadi)—into a tasting adventure. The main goal of the event is to reinforce the concept of a year-round Lake Balaton (Balaton) and ensure Siófok secures its place on the regional gastronomic map.
Special guest of honor this year is Noel Fodor (Fodor Noel), the young Siófok chef who brought home the “Most Beautiful Plate” award with the Hungarian team at the 2024 Bocuse d’Or finals.
All Kinds of Flavors—No Passport Needed
Festival-goers can look forward to a mouthwatering lineup: breakfast and brunch at After & Brunch and Café Maran; elegant wines from Aligai Horváth Winery (Aligai Horváth Pincészet); authentic countryside flavors at Apa Világa (Father’s World); smoked specialties from Déli Part Woodfire BBQ (South Shore Woodfire BBQ); Italian tastes courtesy of Bella Italia, Pietro, and Egy Csipet Nápoly (A Pinch of Naples). Craving traditional Hungarian fare? The kitchens of The Old Fisherman (Öreg Halász) and Sanyi’s Corner (Sanyi Sarok) deliver just that. Sushi Bar offers a taste of Asia, KisKert (Little Garden) serves unique creations, and Dinasztia Confectionery (Dinasztia Cukrászda) delights those with a sweet tooth.
For Foodies and Families Alike
Families with children can enjoy the HashtEgg Toyee (Toyee Adventure Park) adventure park, adding more fun to the weekend. The event also features musical programs, entertainment, discounts, and surprise menus. Visitors are encouraged to try as many venues as possible—GasztroTaxi offers discounted rides, so you can sample dishes without worrying about getting around.
Advance reservations and table bookings are recommended, as spots fill up quickly.
Don’t miss favorites like Opus Restaurant – Hotel Azúr Premium (Opus Étterem – Hotel Azúr Prémium), Mala Garden, La Riva Hotel and Restaurant (La Riva Hotel és Étterem), Grund Bistro & Pub, and many more. Full listings and updates can be found on the Siófok Guide (Siofokguide) Facebook page and the city website.
Whether you’re in it for the breakfast, the barbecue, or the desserts, GasztroFok Siófok 2025 is the weekend to indulge!
