Siófok rolls out a packed summer from early June to early July, blending beachside festivals, chart-topping concerts, theater under the stars, family fun, lavender fields, and nightly cruises. Multiple venues across the city on Lake Balaton’s south shore keep the tempo high with culture, sport, and nightlife stitched together into one long holiday rhythm.
Books, kids, and a literary spark
June 10 turns the BRTK Library into a mini festival of letters. At 13:30 in the Children’s Section, Krisztina Tóth leads Malac és Liba, an interactive session for kids. Later, at 17:00 in the auditorium, she launches her new book Kánkán az üvegpadlón. The next day, June 11 at 17:00, Katalin Szegedi arrives with Mintha tegnap for another author talk in the same hall.
Beats on the beach and a citywide sports day
June 12 marks an all-out activation. From 10:00 to 15:00, Siófok Sports Day (Siófoki Sportnap) takes over the Nagystrand with a try-anything sports fair: soccer, tennis, basketball, chess, beach volleyball, dance, and combat sports. Local clubs demo their programs, coaches guide newcomers, and special guests include EXATLON HUNGARY champions Réka Szabó and Gábor Koplányi alongside the Challengers team. The aim is simple: get everyone moving, build confidence, and connect the community.
The same afternoon, 17:00 at BRTK Library, SiópArt 2026/2 debuts with Perczel “75.” By night, Plázs Siófok fires up: DESH runs 19:00–23:00, and NECC PARTY storms the sand from 22:00 to 04:00.
Lavender rows and sunrise wellness
ÉnKertem opens its Lavender Harvest (Levendula szüret) at Diófás út 136 across multiple weekends: June 12–14, 19–21, 26–28, and June 5–July 7. Pick your bundle and your moment among purple rows. On June 13, BRTK hosts a 09:30 sound bath with Kitty J. Zeller for a gentle reset before the night’s gigs.
Plázs takes center stage
The beach venue goes big. June 13 brings Carson Coma (19:00–23:00) and an EL PASO party featuring Purebeat, Chriss Jay, Rick Wayne, Polevaya, Wizty, and resident Barta. June 19 sets Neoton live from 19:00–23:00, and the same night Metzker & Friends opens its 2026 Friday residency at the Plázs Aréna with Viktória Metzker, Milán Koósz, Mario, Pixa, and K-OSZ TV filming on site. June 20 spotlights Pogány Induló, while a disco boat sails from the Hajóállomás (Boat Station). June 26–27, AstroFest sprawls across stages: from Bruno x Spacc, ValMar, Blansch and Luca Mihályfi to Metzker & Friends in the Party Aréna, Chrstphr and Jauri on the sand, One Dance at Kisplázs, and DJ Slaager in the VIP pool. Day two brings KKevin, T. Danny, and StadiumX among others—two days, multiple sounds, limited tickets.
City strolls, street music, and coin hunters
Street adventures run weekly: a self-guided outdoor sightseeing game (June 8–14, 15–21, 22–28, 29–July 5; July 6–12, 13–19, 20–26) pairs riddles with landmarks. Regular Siófok Walks (Siófoki séták, guided city walks) pop up June 20, 27, July 3, 10, 18. June 20 transforms downtown with the 2nd Street Music Cavalcade (2. Utcazene Kavalkád)—live acts at city spots, freewheeling vibes, and fresh discoveries. June 28 hosts the 35th National Coin Collectors’ Meeting at Gyula Krúdy Vocational Secondary School (Krúdy Gyula Szakgimnázium) (08:00–12:00). And every week, classic Siófok boat cruises (Siófoki hajókirándulás) glide off the pier.
