Siófok is packing the calendar from June 5 to July 7 with festivals, concerts, theater, exhibitions, family days, city games, lavender harvests, and boat parties across multiple venues on Lake Balaton’s south shore. The seaside town doubles down on culture and fun in every season—but summer 2026 is a full-on sprint.
Books, Beats, and a Sports Day Kickoff
June 11, 5:00 PM, author Katalin Szegedi launches Mintha tegnap (As If It Were Yesterday) at the BRTK Library auditorium. The next day, June 12, Plázs Siófok swings open with DESH from 7:00–11:00 PM, then NECC PARTY keeps the beach thumping 10:00 PM–4:00 AM. Also at 5:00 PM, BRTK Library hosts the SiópArt 2026/2 issue launch as part of “Perczel 75.”
From 10:00 AM–3:00 PM on June 12, Siófok’s Grand Beach turns into a massive try-a-sport playground for Siófoki Sportnap (Siófok Sports Day): soccer, tennis, basketball, chess, beach volleyball, dance, and martial arts led by local clubs and trainers. The stars of Exatlon Hungary appear—winners Réka Szabó and Gábor Koplányi with the challengers—cheering on a day about movement, confidence, and community.
Lavender Rows, Sound Baths, and Indie Pop
June 12–14, the ÉnKertem lavender harvest opens at 136 Diófás Street (also running June 19–21, June 26–28, and all June 5–July 7 dates). June 13 starts zen: a 9:30 AM sound bath with Kitty J. Zeller at BRTK Library. By night, El Paso at Plázs lines up Purebeat, Chriss Jay, Rick Wayne, Polevaya, Wizty, and resident Barta; Carson Coma play the beach stage 7:00–11:00 PM.
All week June 8–14, roam Siófok with an outdoor city sightseeing adventure game—family-friendly, puzzle-packed—and hop a Siófok boat excursion. Both return June 15–21 and continue in rolling weekly slots June 22–28, June 29–July 5, and July 6–12.
Classic Pop, Mindful Fest, and Street Music
June 19, Neoton hits Plázs (7:00–11:00 PM), and Metzker & Friends opens its 2026 Friday Aréna season with Viktória Metzker, Milán Koósz, Mario, Pixa, and cameras rolling from K-OSZ TV. The Everness Festival settles into Siófok June 19–28 with its signature conscious vibe.
June 20 is the 2nd Street Music Cavalcade: live street music all over town, mixed genres, and serendipity. The same day brings Siófoki séták (guided walks), the 2nd Siófok Mölkky Championship at Beszédes József Primary School park from 1:00 PM—winners take home real Mölkky sets—plus a Finnish quiz for the brave—Pogány Induló at Plázs, and the disco Party Boat departing the Harbor.
Poolside AstroFest and Sunday Culture
June 26 erupts: a BNK (Bódis-Nagy Katinka) Dance Association showcase at Kálmán Imre Cultural Center, and the two-day AstroFest at Plázs. Friday’s main stage: Bruno x Spacc, ValMar, Bréda Bia, Luca Mihályfi, Blansch. Party Aréna: Viktória Metzker & Friends, Milán Koósz, Vini, Pumped Gabo. On the sand: Chrstphr, Dumbo, Jauri, Johanna Bozai. Small Plázs: One Dance. VIP + pool: DJ Slaager. Saturday stacks KKevin, T. June 27 adds Siófoki séták and another Party Boat. On June 28, numismatists converge 8:00 AM–noon for the 35th National Coin Collectors’ Meeting at Gyula Krúdy Vocational School, and at 5:00 PM St. Martin performs in the Evangelical Church.

July 1, 9:00 PM, Kálmán Imre Open-Air Stage hosts American Comedy – a swing musical (Amerikai komédia – szving-musical), Veres 1 Színház’s revival based on Károly Aszlányi’s play. Set aboard the luxury liner La Paz in a 1938 New York–Monte Carlo orbit: sharp banter, big money, tangled hearts, and a roaring swing score by Artisjus and Fonogram winner Bálint Bársony. July 2, Krisz Rudi’s exclusive Love Drawn in Sand (Homokba rajzolt szerelem) concert hits Plázs with guest AK26 (gates 7:00 PM). July 3 brings Siófoki séták and BSW and the Gang at Plázs, then Metzker & Friends with a BSW Gaben DJ set, Bogi Nagy, and Milán Koósz. July 4 launches a kids’ cruise with pirates, magicians, treasure hunts, and games; another Party Boat sails; and Dzsúdló lights up Plázs (gates 7:00 PM).
July 9 is stacked: Mobb Deep at Plázs (gates 7:00 PM); an Evening Chill sunset boat with panoramic views, music, and cocktails; and Fiddler on the Roof (Hegedűs a háztetőn), Vörösmarty Színház’s production at the Open-Air Stage, 9:00 PM (rain date July 10), revisiting Tevye’s fight for faith, family, and tradition amid antisemitism and forced migration. July 10: Siófoki séták, Róbert Szikora and R-GO at Plázs (gates 7:00 PM), Metzker & Friends with Mollywood, Hazetomika, Milán Koósz, and a late TechnoMatch from 11:00 PM with Henrieta Fogel, Vuiiitka, Mario Barić, Ervo, Spica, Bohnicsek—two Slovak and one Hungarian women DJs inject international underground energy, plus Croatian flavor via Barić. Also July 10–12: the 10th Balaton Babetta Tour rides from the BAHART port, and the New Orleans Jazz Festival returns.
July 11 fires another Party Boat and a second kids’ cruise, while the Ultra Color Festival ignites Plázs July 11–12. July 13–19 keeps boat trips and the city adventure game rolling, and July 14 adds yet another disco cruise.
Mowgli on Stage, Follow The Flow at Sunset
July 15, 8:00 PM, Kálmán Imre Open-Air Stage: The Jungle Book (A dzsungel könyve), Pannon Castle Theatre’s (Pannon Várszínház) beloved musical about Mowgli navigating a jungle that mirrors human society—ironies, anthemic songs, and a finale about love bringing him back to people. July 16 sails another Evening Chill sunset boat. July 17 is big: Follow The Flow brings a 10th-anniversary show to Plázs (gates 7:00 PM), and the Plázs Boat Party with Viktória Metzker and Milán Koósz departs 8:00 PM for a two-hour sunset rave on Balaton. Night-Ride Finale
On July 18, the Night Short Loop (Éjszakai Kiskör) Bike Tour gathers at the Water Tower at sunset with on-site registration 6:00–9:00 PM. Riders set off at 9:00 PM to Szántód, ferry to Tihany for lookout views over the south shore’s lights, then roll to Balatonfüred and onward toward Alsóörs—closing a month that never really slept.
