Siófok is packing the summer with crowd-pleasing festivals, concerts, theater, exhibitions, and family programs across multiple venues on Lake Balaton’s south shore from June 5 to July 7, 2026. Expect outdoor adventures, late-night parties on the sand, chill sunset cruises, and classic musicals under the stars—all season, all over town.
Dance, literature, and interactive kids’ fun
June 8, 19:00, Kálmán Imre Cultural Center: Duna Art Ensemble and Göncöl Band present Apák és fiak, a dance performance based on Albert Nagy’s collections. Actor Ödön Rubold, a Jászai Mari Award-winner, reads from Ferenc Kölcsey’s Parainesis to Kálmán Kölcsey (Parainesis Kölcsey Kálmánhoz), while dancer Máté Orosz of the Hajdú Dance Ensemble of Debrecen features on stage. June 8–14, 15–21, 22–28, 29–July 5, and July 6–12: a playful outdoor city sightseeing adventure sends friends and families around Siófok’s landmarks for a few hours of clue-solving and laughs. In the same weeks, daily Siófok boat trips (Siófoki hajókirándulás) depart from the harbor, with special party sailings popping up through July. Look for “Party Boat” (Bulihajó) disco boats on June 20, 27, July 4, 7, 11, 14, and the Plázs Boat Party with Viktória Metzker on July 17. From June 22 to August 19, the Beach Library (Strandkönyvtár) rolls out on Sóstó and Újhely beaches—sun, sand, and page-turners.
Hit the sand: sports, DJs, and night parties
June 12, 10:00–15:00, Siófok Great Beach (Siófok Nagystrand): Siófok Sports Day (Siófoki Sportnap) invites all ages to try football, tennis, basketball, chess, beach volleyball, dance, and combat sports. Local clubs showcase programs, and champions of EXATLON HUNGARY—Réka Szabó and Gábor Koplányi with the challengers—drop in. It’s about community, confidence, and the joy of moving.
Plázs Siófok keeps nights loud: June 12 DESH (19:00–23:00) and NECC PARTY (22:00–04:00). June 13 brings Carson Coma (19:00–23:00) and EL PASO with Purebeat, Chriss Jay, Rick Wayne, Polevaya, Wizty, and resident Barta. June 19: Neoton live plus Metzker & Friends opening with Viktória Metzker, Milán Koósz, Mario, Pixa, and on-site filming by K-OSZ TV. June 20: Pogány Induló hits the beach stage.
Lavender fields and wellness vibes
ÉnKertem’s lavender harvest at 136 Diófás Street (Diófás út 136) runs June 12–14, 19–21, 26–28, and a long stretch June 5–July 7—bring baskets and enjoy the fragrance. From June 19–28, Everness Festival (Everness Fesztivál) settles in with holistic, self-care, and chillout programming by the lake.
Street music, boardwalk beats, and Nordic toss
June 20 turns the city into a live music map with the 2nd Street Music Cavalcade (2. Utcazene Kavalkád)—multiple spots, mixed genres, a breezy, spontaneous festival mood. The same day, the 2nd Siófok Mölkky Championship (II. Siófoki Mölkky Bajnokság) takes over the Beszédes József Elementary School park at 13:00; winners take home authentic Mölkky sets and face a Finnish trivia challenge. Guided Siófok walks (Siófoki séták) run June 20, June 27, July 3, and July 10.
AstroFest and summer showcases
June 26, the BNK (Bódis-Nagy Katinka) Dance Association takes over the Kálmán Imre Cultural Center with Summer, Balaton, Popular Music – How Could I Live Without You? (Nyár, Balaton, népszerű zenék – Hogyan tudnék élni nélküled?). June 28, 08:00–12:00: the 35th National Coin Collectors’ Meet at Krúdy Gyula Vocational School. That afternoon, 17:00, St. Martin brings sax to the Lutheran Church.
July ignites Plázs: July 1 MAJKA concert (gates 19:00). The same night, 21:00, Kálmán Imre Outdoor Stage hosts American Comedy – A Swing Musical (Amerikai komédia – szving-musical, based on Károly Aszlányi), with a cast including Kata Janza/Horváth Mónika, Kornél Simon, Ádám Bálint, directed by Károly Peller.
