Siófok loads up 2026 with festivals, open-air concerts, theater, exhibitions, family fun, and kid-friendly happenings across the south shore of Lake Balaton. From sunrise sound baths to all-night beach parties, you’ll find something every week—and plenty of excuses to come back in every season. Multiple venues across the city host the action, with Plázs Siófok anchoring the big music nights and the Imre Kálmán (Kálmán Imre) cultural venues handling stage hits and intimate shows. Boat trips, walking tours, and playful city games thread it all together.
June 8–14: Warm-Up Week
Kick things off with an outdoor, puzzle-filled city sightseeing game running June 8–14—grab friends or family and discover Siófok’s landmarks while cracking codes. Lake cruises also sail all week. On June 13, Plázs flips into night mode with EL PASO featuring Purebeat, Chriss Jay, Rick Wayne, Polevaya, Wizty, and resident Barta. Prefer mornings? Drift into a Sound Bath with J. Kitty Zeller (Zeller J. Kitty) at the BRTK Library at 9:30. Indie darlings Carson Coma take Plázs from 19:00 to 23:00. Lavender lovers can join ÉnKertem’s harvest June 12–14 at 136 Diófás Street (Diófás út 136).
June 19–21: Openers, Classics, Wellness
June 19 brings Neoton to Plázs, 19:00–23:00, while Metzker & Friends opens its 2026 Friday residency in the Plázs Arena with Viktória Metzker (Metzker Viktória), Milán Koósz (Koósz Milán), Mario, Pixa—and K-OSZ TV filming on site. Lavender harvest continues June 19–21, and the Everness Festival (Everness Fesztivál) runs June 19–28 for a chill, conscious vibe by the water. June 20 stacks up: guided Siófok Walks, a disco Party Boat from the Port (Hajóállomás), and the 2nd Street Music Cavalcade (Utcazene Kavalkád) citywide street music takeover with multiple stages, mixed genres, and a feel-good, stop-and-listen flow. Plázs hosts Pogány Induló that night, while the 2nd Siófok Mölkky Championship battles it out from 13:00 at the József Beszédes School (Beszédes József) park—winners take home real-deal Mölkky sets, with a Finnish quiz for the bold.
June 22–30: Stargazing Beats and Markets
City game and cruises return June 22–28, plus the Beach Library (Strandkönyvtár) branches open at Sóstó and Újhely, June 22–August 19. On June 25, join the city’s chief horticulturist for a free green walk—building tales, park legends, riddles, ciphers, and hidden stories included. June 26 brings a BNK Dance Association showcase at the Imre Kálmán Cultural Center (Kálmán Imre Művelődési Központ). Over June 26–27, AstroFest lands at Plázs: Friday’s main stage features Bruno x Spacc, ValMar, Bréda Bia, Luca Mihályfi (Mihályfi Luca), Blansch; Party Arena pumps Viktória Metzker & Friends, Milán Koósz, Vini, Pumped Gabo; beach DJs Chrstphr, Dumbo, Jauri, Johanna Bozai; Kisplázs by One Dance; VIP + pool with DJ Slaager. Saturday loads KKevin, T. Danny, VZS, K-OSZ Disco on the main stage; Party Arena with Buda + Don1ka, Shyb 5 Star, Hazetomika, Mollywood, Grasa, Ekhoe, Alprite; beach sets by Belano, CFL, Kollár, StadiumX; Kisplázs Pusziland; VIP + pool Ranger. It’s two days, many stages, a strong lineup, big visuals, limited tickets. June 27 sails another Party Boat and fresh Siófok Walks. June 28 hosts the 35th National Coin Collectors’ Meet at the Gyula Krúdy Vocational High School (Krúdy Gyula), 8:00–12:00, plus St. Martin in concert at the Lutheran Church, 17:00.
July 1–12: Musicals, Legends, Hip-Hop
July 1: Majka hits Plázs (doors 19:00). Over at the Imre Kálmán Open-Air Stage (Kálmán Imre Szabadtéri Színpad), American Comedy—a swing musical based on Károly Aszlányi’s play—lights up at 21:00 with a 100-minute runtime plus one interval. Cast alternates between Kata Janza (Janza Kata)/Mónika Horváth (Horváth Mónika), Kornél Simon (Simon Kornél), Ádám Bálint (Bálint Ádám), and more; music by Artisjus- and Fonogram-winning Bálint Bársony (Bársony Bálint); directed by Károly Peller (Peller Károly). Ticket categories: $33.2, $30.4, $24.9, $20.7. July 2: Krisz Rudi brings his exclusive “Love Drawn in the Sand” (Homokba rajzolt szerelem) mega-concert to Plázs with guest AK26 (doors 19:00). July 3 features Siófok Walks; BSW and the Gang (BSW és a Gang) at Plázs (doors 19:00); Metzker & Friends with BSW Gaben (DJ set), Bogi Nagy (Nagy Bogi), Milán Koósz. July 4 stacks the Party Boat, a Kids’ Boat with pirates and magicians, and Dzsúdló at Plázs (doors 19:00). From July 6–12, cruises and the city game return; July 7 launches another disco boat.
July 9: Fiddler on the Roof (Hegedűs a háztetőn) by the Vörösmarty Theatre (Vörösmarty Színház) at 21:00, rain date July 10, with tickets at $38.7, $33.2, $30.4, $24.9. Also on July 9: Mobb Deep at Plázs (doors 19:00) and an Evening Chill (Esti Chill) sunset cruise with views, music, and cocktails. July 10 turns up TechnoMatch at Plázs (doors 23:00): Henrieta Fogel, Vuiiitka, Mario Baric, Ervo, Spica, Bohnicsek—international energy with Slovak and Hungarian women DJs and Croatian underground fire. Also Siófok Walks, Róbert Szikora and R-GO (Szikora Róbert és az R-GO) at Plázs (doors 19:00), and Metzker & Friends with Mollywood, Hazetomika, Milán Koósz. July 10–12 revs the 10th Balaton Babetta Tour (X. Balaton Babetta Tour) at the BAHART port and the New Orleans Jazz Festival. July 11 repeats the Kids’ Boat and Party Boat, and July 11–12 blasts the Ultra Color Festival (ULTRA COLOR FESTIVAL) at Plázs.
July 13–25: Boats, Jungle, Big Nights
July 13–19: city game and cruises continue, plus a July 14 disco boat. July 15, The Jungle Book (A dzsungel könyve) by Pannon Castle Theatre (Pannon Várszínház) at 20:00 with rain date July 16. Cast led by Ádám Németh (Németh Ádám) as Mowgli, directed by László Vándorfi (Vándorfi László); tickets: $27.6, $24.9, $22.1, $19.3.
July 16 sails another Evening Chill. July 17: Follow The Flow bring their 10-year anniversary show to Plázs (doors 19:00), a career-spanning, festival-scale night. Also on the 17th: Plázs Boat Siófok (Plázs Hajó Siófok), Róbert Koltai – I’ll Never Die? (Sose halok meg?) at the Imre Kálmán Cultural Center Teatrum (Kálmán Imre Művelődési Központ Teátrum), and the Plázs Boat Party with Viktória Metzker and Milán Koósz departing at 20:00 for a two-hour sunset rave on the lake. July 18 repeats the Kids’ Boat, Party Boat, Siófok Walks, and unleashes the Night Short Loop Bike Tour (Éjszakai Kiskör): register 18:00–21:00 by the Water Tower, roll out at 21:00 via Szántód, ferry to the Tihany Lookout, on to Balatonfüred, Alsóörs pub row, a refresh in Kenese, moon-watch in Balatonvilágos, return to Siófok. On July 19, comedian Péter Aranyosi – the digital ninja – plays the Imre Kálmán Open-Air Stage at 20:30.
July 20–26 repeats cruises and the puzzle-city game, with a July 21 disco boat and a July 23 green city walk led by the chief horticulturist. That evening, another Evening Chill sails. July 24, Dorka Gryllus – Unscripted (Kötetlenül) takes the Teatrum stage. July 25 fires up Balaton Retro Fever (Balatoni Retro Láz) at full blaze, plus Party Boat and the joy-packed Kids’ Boat.
Late July Into August: Icons and Odes
From July 27 to August 2, cruises and the outdoor city game keep going, with a July 28 disco boat. July 30, László Dés – The Five of Us (Dés László – Így öten) lands at 21:00 at the Imre Kálmán Open-Air Stage, with guests Pál Mácsai, József Wunderlich, Anikó Für, and Petra Gubik—an ode to the hits and scores that made Dés a byword in Hungarian music: The Great Journey (Nagy utazás), Watch Over Me (Vigyázz rám), We Were So Beautiful (Olyan szépek voltunk), Let It Be So! (Legyen úgy!), We Are the Grund! (Mi vagyunk a Grund!), and more.
And yes: Majka returns August 1 at Plázs Siófok, Saturday, doors 19:00—summer on Balaton doesn’t let up.
