Highlights Kicking Off in May

On May 20, journalist–adventurer Tvrtko presents Chernobyl 40 (Csernobil 40), an exclusive talk at Kultik Sopron Elit Cinema (Kultik Sopron Elit Mozi). Two days later, May 22 stacks the night: Lovers and Killers (Szerelmes gyilkosok), a live true-crime talk show with Dr. Tímea Rátkai, and an ABBA & BONEY M. concert show ramp up the retro vibes.
From May 22–24, the Sopron Wine Festival 2026 (Soproni Borünnep 2026) pours across the city with tastings that showcase the surrounding wine region. May 23 turns loud and local with the 16th Sop-Rock Talent Search Festival (XVI.
