On the water
Paddle deep into the reeds on Canoe Tour in the Reeds of Lake Fertő (Kenutúra a Fertő nádasában) in Balf (9494) on May 7, 14, 21, 28, and June 16, 18, 23, 25. Glide quietly on the E-Boat on Lake Fertő (E-Hajóval a Fertőn) in Fertőrákos (9421) on May 7, 14, 16, 21, 28, 30, and June 4, 9, 11, 18, 20, 25. The Panorama Run (Panorámafutás) brings lake views while you run on May 10 at 1 Fő St., Fertőrákos.
Nature and heritage
The Hany Safari (Hanyi szafari) tours the wetlands often: May 8, 15, 22, 29; June 5, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26; and July 1. On May 16, Legendary Fertő Landscape X – From Rákos to Sopron (Legendás Fertő-táj X. – Rákostól Sopronig) departs from the Quarry bus stop, Fertőrákos. Cycle the Alpine Foothills (Alpokalja) on May 30 with “On the Chapels’ Route…” by bike (“Kápolnák útján…” két keréken), tracing cultural gems in Sopronkövesd (9483).
Wine, kids, and festivals
The St. Urban’s Day Wine Selection (Szent Orbán-napi Borválasztás) is poured on May 21 in Hegykő (9437, 74 Kossuth Lajos St.). Children’s Day in Hegykő (Gyereknap Hegykőn) lands on June 7. The 1 Drop Festival in Hegykő (1 Csepp Fesztivál Hegykőn) fills June 12–14 with music and flavors.
Stage and sound
Fertőrákos hosts Somewhere in America – Bon-Bon 30 (Valahol Amerika – Bon-Bon 30) musical on June 21 and the Roby Lakatos Gypsy Jazz Project concert on June 27.
