Halloween Chills and Creative Thrills
On October 28, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, the American Corner transforms into a spooky setting for its annual Halloween Party. Guest Fulbright scholar Kyla Jernigan, currently at MOME (Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design) in Budapest, is ready with a spine-tingling presentation about monsters and will lead a monster design workshop. Expect word games, bingo, and a spread of sweet and savory snacks—feel free to bring your own if you’d like! Registration is required via email, Facebook, or Instagram.
Surprise Movie Afternoon
The movie magic continues on November 5, with a free Surprise Movie Afternoon featuring an American classic. Snacks and drinks are provided, and all you need to do is register in advance. Everyone’s welcome to bring their own treats and enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the library!
