Celebrating the iconic Swabian steamed dumpling, this is the 18th year the town is hosting this vibrant event, filling the streets with delicious aromas, music, and dance.

All-Day Festivities for Everyone

The day kicks off at 9:30 AM with a performance by the Baranya Majorette Sports Association. By 10 AM, the festival officially opens, along with a high-stakes steamed dumpling making competition that runs until noon. There’s a non-stop whirl of children’s performances, folk music, and energetic dance groups, featuring young talents and groups like Rezeda and the Beremend (Beremendi) group from Himesháza.

Music, Dance, and a Touch of Rivalry

The afternoon heats up with a Sramli (Bavarian brass band) duel, the Diszperzit band from Transylvania (Erdély), and performances from Alpenrose and UnterRock. Starting at 5 PM, relive “The Golden Age of Hungarian Beat” with Producerel, followed by an electrifying Parno Graszt concert, a spectacular fireworks display, and a swing-all-night ball.
