
Gyula’s downtown walking tour is back for fall 2025, with guide Gábor Bánkuti leading a two-hour loop past the city’s top sights every Monday and Friday. Groups of 2–15 set off from the Tourinform office to explore the streets and stories that shaped this spa town. All stops are viewed from the outside, so it’s an easy, relaxed wander with maximum city vibes.
When and where
Tours run Monday 16:00–18:00 and Friday 13:30–15:30. Meeting point: in front of the Tourinform office in the Old Town (Belváros). Dates include 2025.11.17, 2025.11.21, and 2025.11.24, with more added soon. Organizers reserve the right to change times and the program.
Route highlights
Városház Street, Harruckern Square, World Clock, Kossuth Square, Máriás House, Ferenc Erkel Memorial House, Kohán Gallery, Ladics House, the Százéves Confectionery, City Hall, St. Nicholas Church, the 1848–49 Honvéd Officer Memorial, the Castle, the Castle Spa, and Almásy Palace.
