The Klassz a pARTon! (Klassz on the Shore!) Festival returns for its 11th season, running from July 16 to August 3, 2025, bringing enchanting classical concerts to lakeside towns.

Music for Every Taste

This year’s schedule has something for everyone: from brilliant solo piano evenings to lively family programs and dazzling chamber performances. The lineup launches on July 16 in the garden of the Vaszary Gallery (Vaszary Galéria) in Balatonfüred with a duet piano concert by Alexandra Balog and Tamás Érdi. The following day, the Budapest Saxophone Quartet will take over the Vaszary Villa’s garden.

On July 19, Italian flutist Massimo Mercelli joins pianist Mariann Marczi inside the legendary Abbey Church of Tihany (Tihanyi Apátság). Unique duets follow, such as flutist Eszter Illés and harp student Helka Illés-Szabó performing at Saint James Church (Szent Jakab-templom) in Vászoly on July 20. Soprano Klára Csordás and the Grazioso Chamber Ensemble will appear on July 24 in Balatonszemes.

Family, Brass, and Folk Night

For families, catch Sára Banai and Bori Keszei on July 25. Brass fans can enjoy the Savaria Brass Ensemble in the castle park in Tata (Tata) on July 26, with the Cimbora children’s group and a solo recital from Tamás Érdi there on July 27. Guitarist Csaba Nagy and student Marcell Podhorányi shine in Balatonkeresztúr on July 29.

Multiple venues, guest stars, and musical conversations keep the lakeshore sparkling—right up to the grand finale: a musical chat with folk legend Ferenc Sebő and Tamás Érdi in Dörgicse on August 3. Dates and times may change, but unforgettable music is guaranteed.

2025, adrienne
