Pros
+
Family-friendly menu variety (soups, mains, desserts, veggie and GF/LF options) so everyone from picky kids to adventurous eaters is covered
+
Internationally familiar dishes mixed with Hungarian classics make it approachable if you’re new to Hungarian cuisine
+
Budapest is a well-known, easy city-break for U.S. travelers, and Dohány utca is central and tourist-friendly
+
No Hungarian needed—staff in central Budapest restaurants typically speak English, menus are clear
+
Easy access: downtown location works well by metro/tram or rideshare; validated parking helps if you rent a car
+
Great value by U.S. standards: $19–$23 for 2–3 courses with a drink and coffee included
+
Weekly rotating menu keeps it interesting if you’re in town multiple weekends - It’s a restaurant lunch, not a unique cultural “event,” so less memorable than festivals or thermal spas
Cons
Limited time window (12:00–14:30) can clash with sightseeing plans or late Sunday openings
12% service charge plus drinks beyond the included ones can bump up the final bill
ARAZ isn’t a globally famous culinary destination; for bragging rights, peers might pick Michelin hotspots in other cities
