On April 4, 2026, Székesfehérvár’s wildly popular Easter kids’ event marks its 26th edition in Zichy Park (Zichy Liget), welcoming children aged 2–12 for a massive, free egg hunt packed with music, dance, a raffle, a bunny meet-and-greet, face painting, and plenty of parent–child games. Nearly 10,000 plastic eggs filled with candy will be hidden and searched for in five age groups. The true message of Easter will also be shared. Entry is free but requires registration. Location: 8000 Székesfehérvár, Zichy Park (Zichy Liget).
The Székesfehérvár Christian Community Association (Székesfehérvári Keresztény Közösség Egyesület, KKE) and Extreme Generation Association (Extrém Generáció Egyesület) invite all children ages 2–12 on Saturday, April 4. Gathering and on-site registration run from 14:00 to 14:45. The stage show, raffle, and egg hunt begin at 15:00, signaled by a clear horn blast. Parent–child “SUPERHEROES” games cap the afternoon from 16:10 to 18:00.
Close to 10,000 candy-stuffed plastic eggs will be hidden across five zones by age: 2–3, 4–5, 6–7, 8–9, and 10–12. After the stage program and a mic announcement of the rules, children will calmly line up by the color ribbons for their age. No rushing; organizers will wait until everyone reaches the ribbon. Entry into the search areas is allowed only after the horn. Anyone stepping in early will be disqualified.
Registration is mandatory and automatically enters participants in the raffle. Save time by registering online by April 3 at 18:00. Online registrants simply state their registration number at the designated point between 14:00 and 14:45. On-site registration is also available during that window via mobile using posted QR codes.
The event opens at 15:00 with about 30 minutes of stage entertainment and the raffle. During the show, everyone should gather in front of the stage; do not queue at the hunt areas yet. After the rules are read and permission is given, children line up by age group.
Parents may not enter the hunt zones, except for one accompanying adult in the 2–3 group. Adults must not collect eggs—this includes the youngest group. The candy inside belongs to the children, but the plastic eggs must be returned; otherwise, the hunt can’t be staged next year.
Each age zone includes one egg containing a slip marked “kincs” (treasure). Finders will be called to the stage to receive a gift pack. In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed. Check the Facebook event on the morning of April 4 to confirm. Organizers reserve the right to change the schedule and program.
