From June 27 to 29, Szentendre (Szentendre) will be transformed by the BABONA Festival, a three-day celebration all about shared creativity and out-of-the-box ideas. Marking the 100th anniversary of Szentendre’s (Szentendre) legendary surrealism movement, the festival highlights both local and guest artists.
Art, Music, and Midnight Mayhem
Expect everything from thought-provoking talks and interactive workshops to energetic concerts, theater performances, exhibitions, film screenings, and wild performance art. The festival isn’t shy about surprises, either—flashy midnight guerrilla happenings are promised throughout the weekend for those craving spontaneity and late-night adventure.
All Access, All Over Town
Events are scattered across several spots in the city, including the beloved P’Art Cinema (P’Art Mozi) and other central venues. Best of all, every event—even the midnight mischief—is totally free, making it the perfect way to experience Szentendre’s (Szentendre) vibrant art scene this summer.
