February: Tapas, Togetherness, and Weekly Baking
February 15 – Tapas & Company. Feed the mind, then feast together. The brain burns 20–25% of our energy, so the menu starts with a short learning segment as an appetizer to the cooking adventure. Intro learning is led by Rebbetzin Tzivia Myers, while chef Balázs Sepsi runs the kitchen workshop. Register and pay on-site. Registration fee: $14. February 19, 18:00 – February Communal Baking in Szentendre. Food tastes better made with love, and weekly celebrations give plenty of reasons to gather—Shabbat lands every Friday night. March: Purim Knights and Creative Blessings
March 2 – Knights of the Purim Table. Round table or not, the party will be epic. It all begins with the reading of the Megillah, already in medieval costume. Cocktails come after—but think historic, not modern mixes. What did our ancestors drink? We’ll stir and sip their blends. Dress in knightly gear—it’s Purim, don’t forget! 17:45 Doors open; 18:00 Megillah reading with a twist. Szentendre is ready.
March 15 – The candle-lighting blessing, framed on your wall. Prepare together for upcoming holidays through crafts, breezy learning, easygoing chats, and nourishing bites. Each meeting is unique—catch it if you can, in Szentendre.
March 19 – March Communal Baking in Szentendre. The Thursday pre-Shabbat bake returns to Tzivia’s treasured kitchen. Come shape the next day’s delights—we celebrate every week, and the dough rises better in company.
