Historic Manor and Volunteer Stay
An 18th-century listed manor with a granary, farm buildings, and a servants’ house, set in a large garden with a small lake. Both skilled professionals and volunteers are working on the renovation. In exchange for help that doesn’t require specialist knowledge, accommodation and meals are provided. Time is managed on a “there’s enough for all” basis. Balaton, Bakony, wine. For idle arrivals, accommodation is available; you’ll need to chip in for meals. We’ll share updates on tasks; the granary is ready.

Stari Brewery
The Balaton Uplands’ first brewery has brewed premium craft beers for nearly 30 years, from classic pale, dark, and wheat to red ale and trendy IPA. Fruit beer lovers get options with 30% real fruit content: sour cherry, sweet strawberry, velvety plum, tart blackcurrant, and orange-grapefruit matured on a wheat base. For non-drinkers, Stari 0.0 alcohol-free beer has been available since 2021.
