Each Thursday at 6 p.m., the lakeside sauna world in Tata comes alive with fragrant steam, music, and a mindful reset at Malom és Kacsa. It’s a full-body, soul-soothing escape, guided this season by sauna master Tamás Tóth in a setting designed for calm and renewal.

Guests move through the evening in an unhurried rhythm. Following best practices, there’s a 45–50 minute rest between each sauna pour, easily spent breathing fresh air in the wellness garden. During breaks, refreshments are available for purchase at the Café & Spritz Bar.
Entry is by pre-purchased ticket only, exchanged for a wristband at reception. Finnish and infrared saunas are swimsuit-free; sauna sheets are provided, and lockers are available. Alongside the Finnish sauna, the steam bath and infrared cabin run throughout the session.
The venue treats sauna not as just heating up, but as a ritual — an uplifting journey inward. Heat, steam, scent, and water weave together for physical and mental renewal. The design prioritizes harmony: warm tones, natural wood, ambient lighting, and quiet spaces let you fully exhale.
Sauna Types
Finnish sauna (90–95 °C, low humidity): the classic experience for detox, immune support, and stress relief. Regular use stimulates circulation, improves sleep quality, and eases tension.
Infrared sauna (50–60 °C): deep-penetrating infrared warms muscles, aids recovery, and is especially recommended for desk workers, athletes, or anyone with back pain.
Steam cabin (40–45 °C, near 100% humidity): warm vapor supports skin cleansing, eases joint pain, and softens muscle tightness.
