On November 11, 2025, the Jewish House Kecskemét (Zsidóház Kecskemét) rolls out a friendly slate of religious and community programs at 6000, 12 Katona József Square (Katona József tér 12), inviting anyone curious or committed to drop in and feel at home. The headline event is a weekly study circle that swaps caffeine jitters for calm clarity.
Weekly Tea & Torah
Tea & Torah with Rabbi Shalom Ber meets every Tuesday at 16:30 at the Museum of Photography (Fotográfiai Múzeum), with sessions on November 11 and November 18—then continuing weekly. It’s open-door learning and conversation, where the Torah is presented as the best kind of mental nutrition: a guide to understanding the world and yourself. That understanding, they promise, soothes like a sip of your favorite tea. Everyone’s welcome.
Where and How to Join
The community hub is in Kecskemét, with gatherings anchored at the museum for a laid-back, conversation-first format. More dates are coming, with a total of 24 events planned—so if you miss one Tuesday, there’s always the next.
