Hidden in the heart of the city, this more than 100-year-old building transports you back to the golden era of Hungarian maritime trade, when exotic colonial goods arrived from distant oceans. You’ll wander through spaces echoing with stories of ocean liners, far-off adventures, and the ambitious entrepreneurs who once called the palace home.

Important Info & Rules

This guided tour is strictly for adults ages 18 and over. Since the palace is currently a construction site, everyone must attend a mandatory safety and fire protection briefing before entering. Participation is only permitted after signing the safety log. The Adria Palace is not wheelchair accessible—be prepared to climb stairs, as there is no elevator. Stay close to your guide, stick to the marked paths, and follow all rules at every step. Photography and filming are only allowed along designated routes and strictly for private use.

Dates, Location, Tickets

Tours cost about 27 USD per person, last 1 hour and 30 minutes, and start at the corner of Vécsey Street (Vécsey utca) and Liberty Square (Szabadság tér), ending at Liberty Square itself. Multiple dates are available from late October through November 2025. All tours are held in central Budapest, easily accessible by metro or tram. Advance registration is required!
