The Hungarian Press Photo Exhibition 2025 brings together an astonishing selection of 2024’s most gripping journalistic photos. Organized by the Photojournalists’ Division of the Association of Hungarian Journalists (MÚOSZ), the contest attracted 282 photographers who submitted 2,566 works—totaling an impressive 7,438 images—across 16 categories.

To coincide with the exhibition opening, a new edition of the annual photo collection, “Photos of the Year 2024” (Az év fotói 2024), has hit the shelves. This yearbook, a faithful companion to the contest for over thirty years, features every award-winning photo from the competition.
