Get ready for the most dazzling weekend of the year as Bright Days of Mátészalka (Mátészalka Fényes Napok) returns from August 21 to 23, 2025! For three summer days, the city center—around Kossuth Street (Kossuth utca) and Heroes’ Square (Hősök tere)—will transform into a festival hotspot packed with thrilling events, live music, and vibrant celebrations.
Sparkling Parades and Stellar Concerts
Things really heat up on Friday night starting at 8:30 PM with a glowing parade lighting up the streets. Gergő Rácz takes the stage at 9 PM, followed by the energetic East Brass Band (Kelet Brass Band) at 10:30 PM, and Éberkóma wraps up the night from 11 PM.
Saturday: Non-Stop Entertainment for All
Saturday brings children’s performances throughout the afternoon. The music continues from 6:30 PM with Ivan & the Parazol, then Kozmix at 8 PM, Zsuzsi Kollányi at 9:30 PM, Dávid Herceg at 10 PM, and Curtis finishing things off from 10:30 PM.
