Budapest’s University Quay (Műegyetem rakpart) transforms into a buzzing playground for all ages from September 5 to 7, 2025, as the Chery Family Festival arrives with the grand Hungarian debut of the Chery TIGGO. Entry is free, bringing families, car lovers, and party-seekers the ultimate open-air experience right by the river.
Cars, Concerts, and Classic Rides
Get hands-on with the sleek new Chery TIGGO models and enjoy the unforgettable spectacle of the Balkan Rally (Balkán-rali) vintage car exhibition, running from 12:00 to 22:00 on Friday and 10:00 to 22:00 on Saturday. Catch a front-row seat to the start of the rally and join drivers in their high-energy preparations and launch on Sunday from 9:00.
Music pulses throughout all three days, with concerts from acts like Wellhello, Fran Palermo, Hundred Sins, Zoltán Bereczki (Bereczki Zoltán), Paulina, and Ivan & The Parazol, plus epic late-night Chery Parties hosted by Radio 1 (Rádió 1) featuring Lotfi Begi, Viktória Metzker (Metzker Viktória), and Willcox.
Programs for Curious Minds and Kids
Car enthusiasts can dive deep into Friday’s professional sessions on innovation, Chinese technology, green vehicles, and auto racing marketing, with networking opportunities over snacks and drinks on the terrace. Little ones are in for a treat: balloon twisting, face painting, glitter tattoos, bounce houses, crafts, a “Pajamas Playhouse,” juggling, live music from Réka Farkasházi and the Tintanyúl, and mini discos ensure constant fun.
From early morning engine roars to dazzling drone shows at dusk, the Chery Family Festival promises a packed weekend of non-stop action, nostalgia, and excitement for the whole family.
