The Nagymaros (Nagymaros) Spicy Festival returns for its 13th edition on August 30, 2025, transforming the main square of Nagymaros (Nagymaros) into a paradise for chili lovers and heat addicts from all over Hungary and beyond. This is the ultimate annual gathering for passionate spice fans, growers, and adventurous eaters—expect everything from flaming hot delicacies to eye-watering snacks, in every possible form and portion size.
Fiery Fun for All Ages
Things kick off at 10:00 with a Hajni & Tomi (Hajni&Tomi) kids’ concert, followed by an 11:15 Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute by Fuzzistik. At noon, festival-goers can try their luck at the raffle. The real heat arrives at 1:00 p.m. with the spicy eating competition, the “Burning Bites” open challenge, and the legendary LOF Spicy Eating Contest. Live music will keep everyone moving all afternoon and evening, featuring Los-Koyotes, Negro Oro Balkan Bagage, Jóvilágvan (Jóvilágvan), and Kitti Live rocking the main stage.
