Kistarcsa kicks off 2026 with a bang, offering programs for every age group. Expect family and kids’ events, youth and adult activities all year long. The cultural scene bursts with festivals, craft workshops, markets, folk playgrounds, and plenty of genuine fun and relaxation spots. From lectures at DeĂĄktanya to hikes and swims, there’s something for everyone. Most DeĂĄktanya talks are open to all, free to attend, with options to join the Kistarcsa Cultural Association (Kistarcsai KulturĂĄlis EgyesĂŒlet).
March Highlights
March 19 brings Gyulai Katalin’s beauty salon talk. On March 20, SimĂĄndy JĂłzsef Primary School (SimĂĄndy JĂłzsef ĂltalĂĄnos Iskola) celebrates its jubilee at the City Sports Hall (VĂĄrosi Sportcsarnok). March 26 features Nagy Zsolt on the Bible Society (Biblia SzövetsĂ©g). Double fun on March 28: a walking tour on Nagytarcsa’s Kistarcsa side and the 32nd Bunny Cup (32. Nyuszi Kupa) swimming competition.
April Adventures
April 2 offers spring crafts for disadvantaged Kistarcsa kids and youth at DeĂĄk F. Ășt 1âfree but registration requiredâplus Mercel Attila on film industry work. From April 7-10, more crafts at the same spot. April 8 starts computer classes for over-65s at Snail House (CsigahĂĄz). April 9: CsapĂł Beatrix on GödöllĆ’s social garden. April 11: local history walk (at Kistarcsa cemetery). April 13: Baby-Mama Book Club at the City Library (VĂĄrosi KönyvtĂĄr). April 15: more computer classes at Snail House (CsigahĂĄz). April 16: Tillmann Kinga on backpacking South America. April 17 offers Retro Quiz Night at Snail House (CsigahĂĄz) and another computer session. April 18-19: Kistarcsai painters exhibition. April 22 and 24: computer classes continue. April 23: TelekinĂ© KovĂĄcs Ăgnes on King Matthias’s corvinas. April 25: wine tour. April 30: Kardos Ferenc shares child protection stories.
