That same weekend, the Balassagyarmat (Balassagyarmat) Model Railway Exhibition gets rolling at 50 Rákóczi Street. Friday is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Expect detailed model layouts, unique trains, and crowds of kids and grown-ups geeking out over tiny engines and scenic dioramas.
