Tiszacsege’s Fish Soup Cooking Festival returns on Saturday, July 4, 2026, taking over the Halászcsárda (Fisherman’s Tavern) at 2 Rév Street with all-day flavors, music, and riverfront vibes. Entry and parking are free, so come hungry and stay late for headliners Ildikó Keresztes (Keresztes Ildikó) and the duo Guszti Bódi & Margó (Bódi Guszti és Margó).
What’s Cooking
From 11:00, outdoor-cooked fish soup (halászlé) will be served at discounted prices, alongside other fish favorites that encourage eating more fish. It’s the 18th edition, promising that unmistakable Tisza atmosphere: simmering kettles, paprika heat, and locals swapping recipes.
