Budapest’s Kincsem Park (1101 Budapest, Albertirsai Road [Albertirsai út] 2–4) turns into a full-blown carnival on Saturday, February 7, 2026. The Trotting Carnival (Ügetőfarsang) rolls in with costumed trotting, a celebrity race, a sulky-pulling showdown, expanded food and drink stalls, heaps of carnival doughnuts, and a costume contest packed with high-value prizes. There’s also the Kincsem Treasure Hunt Adventure (Kincsem Kincskereső Kaland) and a full slate of kids’ programs, plus plenty of giveaways to keep the energy high. Entry is free, so bring the crew and the costumes.
Freebies, Races, and Family Fun
Arrive in costume and you might score a warm-up on the house: the first 500 visitors in fancy dress get a complimentary glass of mulled wine or tea. Between the star-studded sprint and the muscle-testing sulky pull, the track action stays loud while the food court is bigger than ever—think winter comfort bites and hot drinks on repeat. Kids can dive into themed activities and the Kincsem Treasure Hunt Adventure (Kincsem Kincskereső Kaland), while adults chase prizes in the costume contest and pop-up raffles.
