Veszprém’s renewed Castle District is rolling out guided “Castle Walks” through November, spotlighting sacred spaces and a millennium of history. On November 8, a guided tour starts at 4:00 p.m., departing from the Biró–Giczey House. Themed walks include The Walk of Light and Devotion, covering the Archbishop’s Palace and the Gizella Chapel, every Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
Weekend Walks and Sacred Highlights
On November 9, Castle Walks run at 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., again starting at the Biró–Giczey House. November 15 adds more slots: 11:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m., with two themes: The Walk of Light and Devotion (Archbishop’s Palace + Gizella Chapel) and A Thousand Years’ Road, spanning the Cathedral, the crypt, and St. George’s Chapel.
