The new year opens big on the Main Stage of the Veszprém Petőfi Theatre (Veszprémi Petőfi Színház) with Hyppolit, the Butler (Hyppolit, a lakáj) on January 22 and 23 at 7:00 PM. Stephen, the King (István, a király) takes over on January 24 at 7:00 PM, then returns January 26 at 7:00 PM. The Devil (Az ördög) lands on January 25 at 5:00 PM and January 30 at 7:00 PM, also on the Main Stage. Over at the Latinovits–Bujtor Playhouse (Latinovits–Bujtor Játékszín), Catch Me! Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice (A velencei kalmár) bows on the Main Stage February 6 at 7:00 PM, with repeats February 7 at 7:00 PM, February 8 at 6:00 PM, February 15 at 4:00 PM, February 17 at 7:00 PM, and February 27 at 7:00 PM. Pannon Castle Theatre (Pannon Várszínház) brings On the Origin of Species (A fajok eredete) to Hangvilla on February 8 at 5:00 PM. Hyppolit, the Butler (Hyppolit, a lakáj) returns February 9, 12, 13, 20, and 21 at 7:00 PM.
