Visegrád turns back the clock every Saturday with the 2026 Visegrád Knight Games and Feast, a family favorite along the Danube that keeps the medieval spirit alive well into autumn. Hosted by the Renaissance Restaurant (Renaissance Étterem), the spectacle unfolds at high noon at the storied Solomon Tower (Salamon Tower), where the Saint George Knightly Order brings 14th-century Visegrád’s chivalry roaring back to life.
How the Tournament Unfolds
At the start, the knights crown a king and queen from the audience, drape them in royal cloaks, and seat them in courtly splendor. At the king’s command, armored warriors march in to prove their aim and dueling prowess with authentic medieval weapons, performing daring, often witty bouts that capture the bravado of the age. A royal hunting hawk sweeps the sky, and at the finale, guests can handle and try the weapons with guidance from the knights.
