Visegrád’s Duna Cinema at Main Street (Fő utca) 34 features a packed lineup of top films throughout 2026, with screenings every Thursday through Saturday in this gorgeous gem of the Danube Bend (Dunakanyar). Tickets $4, discounted to $3 for those under 18 and seniors. Pick up tickets 15 minutes before showtime; box office opens 30 minutes prior.

April 8-11 Screenings

Set in gorgeous Visegrád on the Danube Bend with castles and hikes nearby – turn it into a full day trip!

Mix of movies includes US classics like Life of Brian and Devil Wears Prada 2, so not all foreign weirdness.

Easy to reach from Budapest by bus (like the 310 from Batthyány tér) or train to Nagymaros then ferry – about an hour total, no car needed.

Authentic small-town cinema vibe that's way cozier than massive US multiplexes.

Screenings Thu-Sat with multiple showtimes, flexible for vacation schedules.

Most films are Hungarian productions or dubbed, so without language skills you'll miss subtitles and half the jokes – big barrier for English-only tourists.
