Members of the Order of Saint George (Szent György) stage a spectacular 14th‑century-style tournament, showing how warriors vied for the king’s and queen’s favor in medieval Visegrád. At the start, the knights pick a king and queen from the audience, robe and crown them, then parade in to demonstrate marksmanship and combat skills with period weapons—realistic, thrilling, and often witty duels included. A royal hunting falcon takes flight to amp up the drama. At the end, guests can try medieval weapons with help from the knights. The show runs in Hungarian, German, English, and Italian; other languages are available with an interpreter. Groups of 30+ can book custom times.
12:00 Historical briefing in Solomon Tower (Salamon-torony), then rooftop visit. 12:30 Tournament demonstration by Solomon Tower with drinks (white wine, apple juice). 13:30 Royal feast at the Renaissance Restaurant: creamy tarragon venison ragout soup with onion potato dumplings; whole roasted turkey leg, honey-glazed pork ribs, panko-crusted chicken fillet, potato “petals,” chive mayo, honey-smoky sauce, apple-braised cabbage; ice cream sundae.
