Visegrád is turning back the clock to the 14th century with the 2026 Knights’ Games and Feast, a family favorite running every Saturday at noon through the fall. Book early and claim a spot in the live medieval city by the Danube. The Renaissance Restaurant is your host, staging a full medieval spectacle and a royal banquet at Duna-parti út 1, with the Palotaház (Palace House) as the arena.
Members of the Order of Saint George storm the field to show how warriors once fought for the king’s and queen’s favor in medieval Visegrád. At the start, the knights pick a king and queen from the audience, robe and crown them, then march in to prove their aim and dueling skills with period weapons. The clashes are immersive, occasionally cheeky, and capped with a royal falcon flight. At the end, guests can handle and try the weapons with the knights’ help. The show runs in Hungarian, German, English, and Italian, with interpreters available for other languages. Groups of 30+ can book at any time.
