On October 19, 2025, TerraPlaza, the legendary international exotic animal expo and fair, returns to Budapest at the Lurdy Conference and Event Center (Lurdy Ház), 12-14 Könyves Kálmán Boulevard (Könyves Kálmán körút). With over a hundred select exhibitors from around the world and more than two thousand visitors each time, TerraPlaza isn’t just Hungary’s (Magyarország) number one pet expo—it’s a major event for the entire region, blending the best of the terrarium and aquarium worlds.

Covering a whopping 28,000 square feet, the 58th TerraPlaza isn’t just any animal show: it’s a community, a lifestyle, and the ultimate gathering for anyone passionate about reptiles, amphibians, fish, and all things exotic. Whether you’re a curious newcomer or a seasoned terrarium or aquarium enthusiast, the expo promises a fresh experience every time. You can breeze through in two hours or easily lose yourself for an entire day among eye-catching species, innovative enclosures, and the latest trends straight from top breeders.

Terrarium fans will find their paradise here, but in recent years, aquarium lovers have also come into their own as TerraPlaza has greatly expanded in this area. The result? The largest meeting point for both terrarium and aquarium enthusiasts in Hungary. Guests can explore fascinating animal exhibits, enjoy interactive programs, and deepen their knowledge of wildlife conservation and animal welfare.
