It’s that time again for Túrkeve’s (Túrkeve) most beloved tradition: the annual Harvest Festival! On October 4, 2025, the small town transforms as the grand harvest parade dances through the main street, with beautifully groomed horses, horse-drawn carriages, and dancers in colorful costumes stealing the show.
Harvest Parade and Grand Ball
The celebration starts with a lively parade, showcasing the finest horses, carriages, folk groups, and proud local riders. The Little Cricket Folk Dance Group (Kistücsök Néptánccsoport) and KVAMI Folk Dance Group (KVAMI Néptánccsoport) bring authentic folk dance, while the Károly Madarász Folk Song Circle (Madarász Károly Népdalkör) fills the air with traditional songs. Even the kindergarteners of Túrkeve (Túrkeve) join in, making it a true community affair.
Music, Dancing, and Party
As the evening unfolds, the Abonyi Party Band (Abonyi Mulatós Zenekar) takes over, promising a night of energetic folk and party music. Everyone—old, young, locals, and visitors—is welcome. Just remember, the organizers might make changes to the schedule or program, so keep an eye out for updates!
