Winter Noise (Téli Zaj) 2025 lands on Saturday, December 27, dropping its wintry edition of the Black Noise (Fekete Zaj) vibe right between the holidays and summoning the spirit of the Mátra Mountains (Mátra) once again. The lineup packs plenty of dark allure and heavy catharsis: Téveszme, Watch My Dying, Black Nail Cabaret, Ann My Guard, and The Answer Lies In The Black Void are all set to hit the stage, carving out a cold-season ritual for everyone who prefers their festive soundtrack loud, moody, and beautifully strange.
Outdoor opening ritual
This year kicks off with something rare: an outdoor opening concert that’s more invocation than warm-up. Vatafaka will ignite the evening with raw, instinctive, energy-unleashing industrial shamanic music—an elemental blast built for cold air, flashing lights, and collective release. It’s a one-of-a-kind prologue before the night tunnels into metallic churn, synth-drenched noir, and soaring alt-goth drama.
Where the darkness blooms
The whole experience unfolds at Dürer Garden (Dürer Kert), whose rooms and courtyards have become a winter refuge for Black Noise’s (Fekete Zaj) offbeat faithful—an urban echo of the festival’s mountain-born pulse.
