Zalakaros keeps the chill thrilling: the ice rink on the Karos Promenade (Karos Korzó) is open through January 31, 2026. Lights flicker on, the ice gleams, and the slip-and-giggle season hits full stride—whether you glide like a pro or you’re meeting the ice for the first time. Come in a sparkly beanie, an ugly Christmas sweater, or with a “just watching” face. You’ll still do a lap. Hot drinks are on the way, lights are coming up, and yes, they’re waiting for you.

Open November 30, 2025–January 31, 2026 on the Karos Promenade (Karos Korzó). The massive rink covers roughly 8,600 square feet, with a 115×75 foot skating area. Advent vibes, family programs, and big concerts round out the scene.

Mon–Thu 14:00–20:00; Fri 14:00–21:00; Sat 10:00–21:00; Sun 10:00–20:00. Winter break: daily 10:00–21:00. Dec 31–Jan 1: until 02:00; Jan 1: 13:00–21:00.
Tickets and rentals
No time limit. Kids (up to 6): $4.14; Student/Senior: $5.52; Adult: $6.90. Skate rental (sizes 25–47): $5.52/pair for 2–3 hours. Penguin aids: $4.14/hour (+$2.76 deposit).
Notes
Maintenance closes the rink for about 20 minutes, 2–3 times daily. Skate at your own risk.
