On October 23, 2025, Kincsem Horse Park (Kincsem Lovaspark) in Tápiószentmárton will throw open its gates for an epic Revolutionary Horse Day that’s perfect for families and anyone craving authentic Hungarian tradition, food, and old-fashioned fun.
Mouthwatering Eats & Family Deals
Kick off bright and early—at 9:00 am, enjoy a rustic breakfast with lard bread, hot tea, and a shot of pálinka, the classic Hungarian spirit. From noon to 3:00 pm, there’s a buffet lunch for $13.50 per person, followed by dinner (roast chicken leg with parsley potatoes) from 6:00 to 7:00 pm for just $5.40. Feast without breaking the bank!
Live Shows & Folk Fun
The day is packed with interactive programs: from Klára Mészáros’s storytime at 10:30 am, where kids can jump into the tale of the Golden Fleece Lamb, to folk dancing by the Liszt Ferenc Music School of Nagykáta (Nagykáta Liszt Ferenc AMI) group and a circle dance with folk instruments at 11:30 am. At 2:00 pm, thrill to a hussar show and a horseback skills competition, and from 7:00 pm, a lively folk dance party kicks off.
Try Hands-On Heritage
Get crafty—enjoy hands-on workshops led by local artisans, create sand art, get glitter tattoos, braids, or face painting ($2.70–$5.40 each). After 1:00 pm, check out Aunt Klári’s (Klári néni) antique rope-making machine and weave your own bracelet for a true trip back in time.
Ponies, Omnibus & More
Kids up to 88 pounds can hop on a pony for just $1.35, while heavier riders can enjoy a full-sized horse experience at the same price. Don’t miss the historical omnibus rides—horse-drawn and nostalgic—or classic wooden folk games.
Entry Prices
Entry is free for kids under 3, $1.90 for children or pensioners, $2.45 for adults, or $1.60 per person for groups of over 20.
Bring the family, dive into heritage, and maybe leave wearing a hand-braided bracelet. Programs may change, but fun is guaranteed!
