Holiday Lights, Warm Chestnuts
Advent candle lightings glow outside the Shepherd’s House on 11/29, 12/06, 12/13, and 12/20, with a Christmas Eve Nativity play at the Town Hall. The season includes a 12/01 book launch by Tímea Erika Gajdos (Gajdos Erika Tímea) at Szépkilátó, a 12/04 photo exhibition of 2024 local newborns at the Town Hall, a 12/05 community St. Nicholas Day (Mikulás) party, the 12/10 Ujj Mészáros Károly Film Club screening Every Star (Minden csillag), the 12/13–12/14 Advent Chestnut Roast and Christmas Market, and a 12/15 talk by Ágnes Kőhalmi on the emotional roots of illness.
2026 Summer Highlights
On 02/20, a Traccsparti chat night with Móni Balsai (Balsai Móni). From 07/09–07/12, Gyenesdiás Wine Days (Gyenesdiási Bornapok) pours local wines. From 08/06–08/09, Altér Fest (Altér Feszt) takes over with music and arts.
