Spring Wine Scene Ignites
Hello Terrace (Szevasz Terasz) launches the spring wine terrace season from April 3-26 at Papp Winery’s (Papp PincĂ©szet) panoramic spot. Part of the nationwide Hungarian Wine (Magyar Bor) “Hello Terrace (Szevasz Terasz)” campaign, nearly 100 wineries host events over four weekends for sipping top wines amid blooming vines. Open cellar days take place at Festetics Helikon Tavern Cellar (Festetics Helikon Taverna Pince) on April 4, 11, 18, and 25.
Easter Family Fun and Hikes
April 4 brings an Easter family afternoon at Magic Sounds Playground and Creative Workshop (Varázshangok JátszĂłház Ă©s KreatĂv Műhely) with creative workshops, petting bunnies, egg hunts, and board games for all ages. Join the Easter Hike that Saturday at 10 a.m., led by Rita Gazda, starting from Zenit Hotel parking lot to the Mary Statue (Mária-szobor), Vadlán-lik Cave, Light Cross (FĂ©nykereszt), Festetics Lookout, and back.
