Sold-Out Theater Hit: The Theater Maker (A szĂnhĂĄzcsinĂĄlĂł)
Every ticket is gone for Thomas Bernhard’s The Theater Maker (A szĂnhĂĄzcsinĂĄlĂł) on April 10 at 7 p.m. in Balaton Theater’s main hall. It’s the second show in the 2026 Spring Season Pass. Orlai Production brings Bruscon (RĂłbert Alföldi, National Actor) and his small troupe for a guest performance. Everything goes wrong in this unfamiliar spot, with just hours till curtain. Bernhard (1931-1989), the radical pessimist, railed against Austrian society and the absurdities of modern life through his obsessive stage heroes. See it as a massive theatrical stand-up fueled by raw pain and cocky cluelessness. Cast: RĂłbert Alföldi, TĂmea Buza, Lili LĂĄszlĂł, Ăron Valentin NĂ©meth, BĂ©la Ficzere. Adapted by Bence BĂrĂł. Set by Eszter KĂĄlmĂĄn, costumes by Sosa Juristovszky, poster by LĂĄszlĂł CsĂĄfordi, assistant director Judit SkrabĂĄn. Directed by RĂ©ka PelsĆczy.
