Magical Saturdays: Knights, Theater, Crafts

Step through the gate and spend a full day in a medieval mood. Magical Saturdays promise variety: a showy joust, theatrical performances, a giant playground, interactive games, and craft workshops. Test yourself in different corners of medieval life, learn the secrets of master artisans, and browse handmade goods in their workshops. Costumes? The Tailor’s Shop wardrobe has you covered—become a princess, a knight, a noble, or even a jester. When hunger hits, the Inn serves hearty dishes and refreshing drinks to keep the adventure rolling.

Witchcraft and Sorcery with Zina

The live show Witchcraft and Sorcery with Zina dives into the world of medieval witches and healers—and hunts for their traces in the present. Think simple gossip was harmless back then? Think again. This witty, engaging talk explores who witches were, where persecution began, and which charms still linger in folk memory. Do incantations work? You’ll leave with a lifelong charm, a good laugh, and a sharper sense of myth versus reality. A production of Ágens Társulat (Ágens Company) and Bikali Élményszínház (Bikal Experience Theater).

The Lightmaker: A Musical Light Magic Show

The Lightmaker blends light and shadow into an epic good-versus-evil dance. Using intelligent lights and special sound design, the technicians conjure a world where time suspends and imagination takes the lead. When one light fades, another flares—the eternal cycle in vivid, synesthetic form. A one-of-a-kind sensory ride in Hungary.

Kurtizánképző with Zina: Relationship Stand-Up

May 20, 7:00–8:20 PM. Kurtizánképző is a singular, interactive stand-up theater ride. Audience members gush that it should be prescribed. With more than 1,000 performances behind it, the show uses humor and self-reflection to unlock empathy between the sexes—handing you, as fans joke, a “Courtesan diploma” in culture and communication. Ideal for couples: you’ll navigate relationship mazes with a lighter heart. Written and directed by Ágens, starring Zina. An Ágens Társulat (Ágens Company) x Bikali Élményszínház (Bikal Experience Theater) production.

Úr-kurzus: The Men’s Companion Show

May 23, 7:00–8:20 PM. Úr-kurzus is the partner piece to Kurtizánképző, handing men (and their partners) a sharp, funny decoder ring for how women speak—and vice versa. It maps the anatomy of an argument, the “override” technique inside relationships, and the overcooked “only you” routine. Bring your partner; humor and irony do the heavy lifting. An Ágens Társulat (Ágens Company) x Bikali Élményszínház (Bikal Experience Theater) production.

Whitsun Warm-Up: Birds of Prey, Stilts, and Knights

The Whitsun Warm-Up Saturday floods the grounds with color and motion: meet raptors up close at the falconer’s station (photo ops included), wave to Strolling Stilt-Walkers in vibrant costumes, and catch the interactive tale Kalandozás a Csillagszemű juhásszal (Adventures with the Star-Eyed Shepherd). Weapon Showcases pull back the curtain on knightly warfare, and the Knightly Tournament delivers the day’s big adrenaline hit. Round it out with Witchcraft and Sorcery, roaming quests, costume rentals, craft houses, and food that keeps the medieval vibe humming.

Weapon Showcase with Knight Tamás

What springs to mind with a medieval warrior—brutality, skill, cunning? Knight Tamás, famed for his battlefield smarts, breaks down real combat: swordplay basics, rules of chivalric duels, and why armor kept evolving. Chain mace or throwing spear—what’s the point? How did someone earn knighthood? Ask well and you might even handle a piece or two.

Dad Lockdown Panic: A Stand-Up on Fatherhood

Apuzárási pánik (Dad Lockdown Panic) tracks the roller coaster of becoming a dad—joy, fear, doubt, identity shifts—without the sugarcoating. Orlik István (Luke) mines the chaos with humor and irony. No song-and-dance—just straight talk and big laughs for anyone who’s tried to learn fatherhood on the fly.

Children’s Day at Élménybirtok

May 30 rolls in with Children’s Day—expect the full playground of interactive houses, challenges, crafts, shows, and knightly thrills dialed up for maximum kid joy. Families can roam, dress up, snack, and soak in the Middle Ages together all day long.
