The workshop takes place indoors at the Apródképző on the Puchner Estate (Puchner Birtok), nestled at the foot of the Mecsek Hills on more than 34.6 acres of ancient trees and storybook valleys. Next door, the Élménybirtok brings the Middle Ages to life with immersive settings. Parking is free at the Puchner Castle Hotel (Puchner Kastélyszálló) reception, so arriving is easy, even for larger groups.
Sessions run 10:00–13:00. Good to know: each decor piece takes about an hour to make, so arrive by 12:00 at the latest—any later and you won’t have time to finish. You’ll work in small groups with expert guidance in an inspiring, judgment-free atmosphere that welcomes beginners, seasoned hobbyists, and pros alike. Adults and school-age kids can join; younger children are welcome with parental supervision.

When you need a break, the estate’s medieval world sets the mood, and the famed Inn of the White Swan (Fogadó a Fehér Hattyúhoz) near the South Gate and the swan lake serves hearty, era-inspired plates.
