Siófok (Siófok) is gearing up for a culinary adventure like no other as the third annual GasztroFok returns on November 8-9, 2025. This weekend-long food festival promises a “taste tour” across Siófok, letting you sample unique local specialties at restaurants and eateries citywide, all with special offers and surprise events.

From Wine to Street Food: A Gastronomic Road Trip

The idea behind GasztroFok is simple: to celebrate Siófok’s (Siófok) rich food and wine scene by bringing together the city’s best talent and local producers. Restaurants from Széplak (Széplak) to Sóstó (Sóstó), Kiliti (Kiliti) to Szabadi (Szabadi), craft special menus just for the occasion. With creative dishes, local wines, and artisanal products, the goal is to put Siófok (Siófok) firmly on the foodie map and encourage year-round visits to Lake Balaton (Balaton).

Star Power: Noel Fodor (Fodor Noel) Takes the Lead

This year, the festival gets extra buzz thanks to honorary patron Noel Fodor (Fodor Noel)—Siófok’s (Siófok) rising star and member of the Hungarian team that won the “Most Beautiful Plate” prize at Bocuse d’Or 2024.

Whatever Your Craving, It’s Here

Things kick off with extravagant brunches from After & Brunch (After & Brunch) and Maran Café (Café Maran). Wine lovers can sip quality vintages from Horváth Winery, Aliga (Aligai Horváth Winery), while Apa Világa (Apa Világa) serves up rustic country fare. Déli Part (Déli Part) offers smoky BBQ, and Bella Italia (Bella Italia), Pietro (Pietro), and A Pinch of Naples (Egy Csipet Nápoly) wow Italian food fans. The Old Fisherman (Öreg Halász) and Sanyi’s Corner (Sanyi Sarok) present traditional Hungarian classics, Sushi Bar (Sushi Bár) whisks you off to Asia, and Little Garden (KisKert) features original flavors that beg to be tried. Got a sweet tooth? Don’t miss the desserts at Dynasty Confectionery (Dinasztia Cukrászda). Plus, kids get their own adventure at HashtEGG Toyee Park (HashtEgg Toyee Park).

Tasty Extras and Pro Tips

Don’t just stick to one spot—explore as many restaurants as possible! Advance booking and table reservations are highly recommended. For stress-free pub-hopping, the discounted GasztroTaxi (GasztroTaxi) service will ferry flavor-seekers between venues. Event details, full menus, and schedules are all available on the Siofokguide Facebook page, the city’s official website, and at the Tourinform office.
