Ready for another round? GasztroFok is doubling the fun again for its third year, inviting food lovers to experience the buzzing lakeside city of Siófok from November 8–9, 2025. This annual weekend, organized with top local restaurateurs, offers exclusive deals, discounts, and surprise events for everyone who loves great food and drink.

Culinary Road Trip Across Siófok

Inspired by previous years’ successes, GasztroFok continues its mission to spotlight the region’s rich wine and gastronomic treasures. The initiative began just two years ago as a collaborative effort to firmly place Siófok (Siófok) on Hungary’s culinary map, promoting Lake Balaton’s (Balaton) year-round appeal. Participants can embark on a delicious journey, sampling special tasting menus curated at restaurants stretching from Széplak (Széplak) to Sóstó (Sóstó) and Kiliti (Kiliti) to Szabadi (Szabadi), while highlighting local growers and producers along the way.

Special Guests and Epic Eats

This year’s patron is Siófok’s rising star, Noel Fodor – the young chef who brought home the Bocuse d’Or 2024 “Most Beautiful Platter” special prize as part of the celebrated Hungarian team. The event’s vibrant lineup includes everything from regional farms and renowned wineries to gourmet hotspots, street food stalls, and dessert parlors. Whether you crave Italian pizza, Hungarian classics, Asian specialties, BBQ delights, or unforgettable cakes, everyone will find something to satisfy their tastes here. The full program will be posted on the Siófok Guide (Siofokguide) Facebook page, the city’s website, and at the local Tourinform office.

Can’t-Miss Spots and Surprises

Breakfast lovers shouldn’t skip the creative brunches at After & Brunch and Café Maran (Café Maran). Wine fans can enjoy the offerings at Aliga Horváth Winery (Aligai Horváth Pince), while the rustic kitchen at Apa’s World (Apa Világa) and the smoky favorites of South Shore Woodfire BBQ (Déli Part Woodfire BBQ) bring the wow factor. Satisfy your Italian cravings at Bella Italia (Bella Italia), Pietro (Pietro), and A Pinch of Naples (Egy Csipet Nápoly). Hungry for classics? Head to Old Fisherman (Öreg Halász) or Corner of Sanyi (Sanyi Sarok). For something different, try the unique dishes at Little Garden (KisKert), or take a quick trip to Asia at Sushi Bar (Sushi Bár). Dessert fans will love Dynasty Confectionery (Dinasztia Cukrászda), and families can visit HashtEgg Toyee Adventure Park (HashtEgg Toyee kalandpark).

How to Join and Get Around
