Fragrant, fresh, and fiercely local: Tiszafüred hosts the Lake Tisza Producers’ and Artisans’ Market on Sunday, November 9, 2025, 9:00–13:00, inside Dieter’s Camping (5350 Tiszafüred, Fürdő út 9). Shop small-batch foods, homemade syrups, hot-from-the-pan bites, and gorgeous craftwork—all in one strollable spot. The theme? St. Martin’s Day (Márton-nap), so expect geese, autumn flavors, and a cheeky chorus of Gi-gá-gá… nem megyünk mi világgá! Fine. Don’t wander off—come hungry instead.
What’s Cooking
Minden Lében Kanál Bár brings a cozy menu loaded with seasonal comfort. There’s sweet potato–celeriac cream soup, finished with a drizzle of pumpkin seed oil, a spoonful of sour cream, fresh sprouts, and chewy dried apple slices. “Libaságok” (goosey goodness) hit the grill and land on plates with garlicky rosemary-fried potatoes and house-made csalamádé. For plant lovers, they’re tossing a big kale–potato–lentil salad inspired by Tamás Szél, dressed in an orange vinaigrette. Sweet bites include dried-fruit zserbó truffles made with real homemade apricot jam—also packed to go at the Lake Tisza Treasures (Tisza-tó kincse) table. If time, energy, and oven space allow, expect strudel—apple, plum, curd cheese… or all of the above.
