Once again, Hévíz (Hévíz) welcomes music lovers to its celebrated Majestic Sounds organ concert series, guided by the artistic vision of Miklós Teleki, the acclaimed organist and pianist awarded the Artisjus Prize and based in Siófok (Siófok). From mid-April to the end of October, every Wednesday at 8:00 PM, the Holy Spirit Church (Szentlélek templom) in Hévíz (Hévíz) transforms into a vibrant venue for 60- to 70-minute concerts, blending solo organ performances and chamber music in a refreshing live program.
A Musical Feast Every Wednesday
Concertgoers can expect a rich variety, with Miklós Teleki leading nearly every evening, sometimes joined by guest artists such as László Simai and Nóra Ducza. The specific program and lineup for each night are detailed on the official website. The festivities are not exclusive to Hévíz (Hévíz)—concerts will also light up Budapest (Budapest) and Siófok (Siófok) as part of the nationwide Majestic Sounds series.
2025 Dates to Remember
The series runs from April 23 to October 22. In May, Teleki performs solo every week except the last, when he is joined by László Simai. June and July bring more performances, with Nóra Ducza featured on June 25 and July 30. August spotlights Teleki, with Simai returning on August 27, and more duets with Ducza fill late summer and early autumn. September and October continue this musical journey, with every Wednesday evening reserved for an organ extravaganza.
Organizers reserve the right to make changes to the program or schedule, so it’s wise to check the details before attending. Hévíz’s (Hévíz) summer evenings promise unforgettable sounds under vaulted ceilings—perfect for anyone craving the magic of live music.
