Tiszafüred is rolling out a full year of culture, food, lake adventures, and family fun across multiple venues in 2026. As one of the Lake Tisza (Tisza-tó) region’s most-loved towns, it mixes thermal baths, fishing, boat trips, concerts, festivals, and hands-on heritage. Here’s the all-in-one guide to what’s happening and when—so you can plan weekends around dinos, dance houses, night cruises, and late-summer tractor duels.

July: Twins, Boats, Dinos, and K-1

July 6–12 opens with Dino Park Tiszafüred, a crowd-pleaser featuring lifelike, scientifically presented dinosaurs with international museum certification. They move, they roar, and they teach—kids and adults can geek out together on prehistoric wonders at Lake Tisza (Tisza-tó). On July 11–12 and again July 18–19, scheduled boat services circle the lake—think breezy rides, photo ops, and easy access to waterfront stops. July 12 brings the 2nd Twins Meeting and Family Day at Halas Square, a cheerful celebration for twins, families, and anyone who loves a big all-ages get-together.
Dino fever continues July 13–19, alongside Szeretem torna, the senior cardio fitness session on July 14. Action spikes on July 18 with a Blackout K-1 match—full-throttle stand-up combat for fight fans—and returns July 25–26 with more scheduled lake boats. The Flavors and Treasures (Ízek és Kincsek) Producers’ and Artisans’ Market pops up on July 19, delivering local flavors and handmade finds. From July 20–24, the Dalma Danca Club hosts a summer Dance Camp, while Dino Park returns July 20–26, now paired with funfair elements. Szeretem torna returns July 21 and July 28 for more senior-friendly movement.

Late July: Culture Hit List

Round out the month with community staples on July 30–31: the Lifestyle Changers Club meets on July 30; July 31 brings a Volunteer Blood Drive and the local Chess Club. That same night begins the Lake Tisza Festival / Nation Awakener – The Greatest Hungarian (A legnagyobb magyar), running July 31–August 1, setting the tone for a cultural August kickoff.

August: Cycling, Sunsets, DJs, and Heritage

August 1 spotlights the Lake Tisza Festival’s musical lake-circuit cycling tour, starting from Tisza Lake Hotel (Tisza-tószállás), blending pedals with playlists. Keep the waterfront vibe going with scheduled boat services August 1–2 and the Sunset Beach Party on both nights. Dino Park returns August 3–9 and August 10–16, serving prime family entertainment for peak holiday weeks.
On August 8, the Sport Selector event at the B.G.V. Sports Hall lets kids and teens try different disciplines, meet coaches, and find their game. The DJ Tour Fest lands on the Morotva Peninsula August 13–16, bringing beats, lakeside breezes, and festival energy. Scheduled boats continue August 15–16. The Flavors and Treasures (Ízek és Kincsek) market is back August 16, just in time to stock up ahead of national celebrations.
August 20 marks State Foundation Day with festive programs across town. Also on the 20th: Bring Grandma and Grandpa to the Museum, a shared family adventure at the László Darabos Ethnographic and Local History Exhibition. On August 21, the Tiszafüred Tractor Power Duel and Speed Race revs into town, alongside Summer Evening Concerts at the Main Square on August 21–22. Dino Park closes the month with August 24–30 dates, followed by Tiszavég Day on August 30 and another Blackout K-1 match that same day for a punchy finale.
