Sip, Savor, Unwind
Guests can sample over 100 different wines presented by at least 15 top exhibitors in a laid-back, chatty atmosphere. The spotlight is on wines from the Badacsony and Balaton Highlands (Balaton-felvidék) regions, especially the local superstar grape, Blue-stemmed (Kéknyelű), now officially celebrated as a Hungarian national treasure. Vineyard representatives personally pour their best, including award-winners, while sharing stories, laughter, and the secrets behind the bottles.
Tasting, Tickets, Tips
Wineries include Békássy Winery (Békássy Borászat), Altinger Cellar Badacsony (Altinger Pince Badacsony), Wine Friends (Borbarátok), Borbély Family Winery (Borbély Családi Pincészet), and many more from Badacsony Town (Badacsonytomaj), Káptalan Valley (Káptalantóti), and throughout the region. Early bird tickets are about $22 (until September 20); standard and onsite tickets are $30. There’s a $5 glass deposit upon arrival—returned when you give the glass back. Your entry covers unlimited tasting, and you can buy gourmet snacks on site to pair with the sips.
