What’s Open at Night

With a valid bath ticket, guests can dip into four therapeutic pools (95°F, 100°F, a therapy lap pool, and a ring pool), plus one experience pool with 14 features and a slide. There’s a wave pool with four effects, and a slide park boasting four giant slides and six features in the slide pool. Outside, a free beach area and aquapark elements await. Kids get their own pool with a small slide and six features, plus a paddling pool with four more. Wellness includes a sauna island with aroma and Finnish saunas and a steam cabin, a separate Finnish dry sauna, a plunge pool, a jacuzzi, and a salt room. On land: two playgrounds, a maze, two volleyball courts, a grass soccer field, a grass basketball court, two skittle lanes, and outdoor chess.

Stay, Eat, Unwind

Mustang Ranch (“Mustáng” in Hungarian) “small manor” is a party-friendly spot nearby—no nosy neighbors, no caretaker’s glare. Since 2012, Jonathermál Zrt. has run the two-story guesthouse in a quiet, wild setting next to the bath, motel, campground, and Lópofa Inn. Jonathermál offers motel rooms, cabins, and camping year-round in a leafy park. In winter, rooms are heated in an eco-friendly way with thermal water’s heat energy for steady comfort. Lópofa Inn serves classic Hungarian flavors daily beside the spa and lodgings.

The organizers reserve the right to change dates and programs.

Pros
+
Family-friendly vibe with kids’ pools, slides, playgrounds, and even outdoor chess, so everyone’s got something to do
+
Great value: a flat night ticket around 3,500 HUF (roughly low double-digit USD), making it an easy splurge
+
Relaxing late-night hours (till midnight) feel special and crowd-thinning compared to daytime chaos
+
No Hungarian needed: spa logistics are simple, signage at big baths is usually pictogram-heavy, and staff often manage basic English
+
Wellness perks beyond pools—saunas, steam, salt room, and jacuzzi—stack up well versus U.S. resort day passes
+
On-site stays (motel, cabins, camping) and a nearby inn make it a convenient base for a chill thermal getaway
+
Hungary’s thermal-bath culture is globally known, so the theme is familiar even if the town isn’t - Kiskunmajsa isn’t on most U.S. tourists’ radar; you’ll likely need to route via Szeged/Kecskemét/Szeged region rather than a simple Budapest stroll
Cons
Public transport requires some planning (train/bus + local taxi), and driving is easier but adds car-rental hassle
Night bathing schedules vary by season and specific dates, so you must double-check times and possible changes
Compared to mega-famous baths in Budapest (Széchenyi/Gellért), this is less iconic and more local-feeling, which may underwhelm bucket-listers
